How do I count records?

What is count?

In Cintra iQ, you are able to count the number of records for one or more filters, before the filter(s) are applied to the navigator. You can use this tool as a method of testing the filter(s) before you leave the Record Filters window, as counting the records may indicate whether you have selected the right fields and used the correct operators.

How do I count records?

1. Go to: Definitions > Filters. The Record Filters window appears. 
2. Select the desired filter in the Definitions pane. 
3. Click the Count...  button. The Record Filter Count window appears with the highlighted filter counted.
   
   

     Note:

   For reporting purposes, click the Count All button to count the records in all the filters in the window.
