Within Cintra iQ, you can create a snapshot of data for the set of payrolls of your choosing. How does the Gender Pay Gap Snapshot account for employees not on full pay?

The hourly rate should only be taken into account for those employees on Full pay. If an employee is on reduced pay due to being on leave, their hourly rate should not be taken into account when calculating the mean, median and quartile figures.
When the snapshot data is extracted, an employee is marked as Full Pay = No in the following circumstances:
  • The employee is receiving no pay.
  • The employee is in receipt of company sick pay, at a rate of less than full pay, during the snapshot period.
  • The employee has a calendar absence for an attendance category that is ticked as being Not Normally Paid.
  • The employee is either starting or leaving part way through the snapshot period.

  Note:

If there are other employees who you know to not be on full pay, then you should mark them as not full pay so that their hourly rate does not get included in the statistics.

Report tab

Once the hourly rate, the annual bonus and the gender has been gathered for each employee, the following calculations can be made, which the GPG report displays.
