Cintra iQ allows you to record person, employment, and teaching experience and qualifications. It also allows you to compile these details and save them as a .csv file or generate an xml output to be sent to the ETF

  Important:

The SIR Report module is only available to those clients who have SIR set up in their system. For more information, contact Cintra's Support team.

How do I compile data?

After you set the Is FE Sector and SIR UKPRN fields in Employer Setup, you are ready to compile the SIR data for your return.

  Important:

Ensure that all the data has been entered in the forms prior to compiling the return.

To compile SIR data

  1. Navigate to the SIR Work force Data window.
  2. Select the Date.
  3. Select the desired Further Education(FE) establishment in the Choose SIR UKPRN for drop-down list.

      Note:

The SIR UKPRN number displayed was entered in Employer Setup. For more information, see the Education Details tab section in What are Employer Details?

  4. Click the Retrieve Return button. The data appears in the SIR Workforce Data window.
  5. Modify the fields where necessary. For more information about which fields are modifiable, see the Fields section in What are Staff Individualised Records (SIRS)?

      Note:

Make sure that you save the data after each modification to ensure the changes are kept.

How do I send the return to the ETF?

Once you have saved the data to a .csv file or generated an .xml file, you can send it to the ETF by logging on to the SIR Data Insights website and uploading the file.
