How do I add absence reasons to self-service?

You can set up Absence Reasons within Cintra iQ so that they will appear in the Absence Reason drop-down list when you create a Sickness Request within Self-Service.
 

To set up sickness and absence reasons

  1. Navigate to the Look up Administration window. 
    Go to Cintra iQ: Definitions> Lookups

  2. From the Lookup Table drop-down list, select Attendance Reasons. The Lookup Values pane appears.
  3. Click the Insert button. The Attendance Reason form appears.

  4. Select the Category: Sickness.
  5. Enter the Reason Code. e.g Vaccination, Bad Back etc.
  6. Enter the Description. e.g. Vaccination, Bad Back etc.

      Important:

    This description will appear in the Absence Reason drop-down list in Self-Service's Create Sickness form.

  7. Click the OK button. 

  Note:

Both the SART and Exclude From Bradford Factor options are used in association with Sickness Reasons within Cintra iQ. The attendance reason is created and can be selected from the Absence record. For more information about absence records, see How Do I Create Calendar Events?
