How do I edit all SMP payments per payroll period?

Within Cintra iQ, you can create a Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) claim for an employee who is going on maternity leave. This includes 
  • Setting up Maternity Pay details
  • Creating a Maternity Payment Schedule
Before you begin to set up a Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) claim, you must create a Maternity Leave calendar event. The Calendar of Events is the core control record for each employee which will hold all periods of absence.
 
You can edit all SMP payments per payroll period, when required.
 

How do I edit all SMP payments?

  1. Navigate to the Maternity Pay tab.
    Go to Cintra iQ: Employment Record> Forms> Parental Payments
  2. Open the desired record. The SMP Claim window appears.
  3. Open the desired SMP Claim. The SMP Claim window appears.
  4. Select the Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) tab.
  5. Click the Payment Details button. The SMP Payment Details form appears.
  6. Double-click the Payment record. The Edit Pay Up To Date form appears.
  7. Enter the new date that the SMP will be paid up to. The payment record is updated.
  8. Click the OK button to save and exit. The update is made to the payment.
  9. Click the OK button to close. The update is on the Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) tab.
